Jennifer’s paintings lend support to the Women’s Center of Jacksonville Fund Raiser

July 2007

This year Jennifer continues her support of the Women’s Center of Jacksonville with donation of two paintings: Perennial I and Perennial II (each 24X24) from the Collective series for the Center’s Silent Auction.

"Celebration of Women" is the Women’s Center of Jacksonville’s annual fundraiser। All proceeds benefit the Women’s Center of Jacksonville and the community it serves. Over 8,000 women and families will be helped as we provide services for victims of sexual assault, for breast cancer survivors, for clients needing low cost counseling, for women with HIV/AIDS, for students learning to read and for women and girls to fulfill their potential.

This year’s event will be held at the Jacksonville Public Library - Main Library at 303 N. Laura Street in Jacksonville on Friday August 24, 2007. The Reception starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by Silent Auction bidding at 7:30 p.m.
The featured performer this year is Minton Sparks. Minton weaves elements of music, drama, poetry and storytelling while drawing upon her southern traditions for inspiration. Her unique brand of poetry and music was recently featured nationally on NPR’s All Things Considered. Call (904) 722-3000 x 229 for ticket information.
